As the infrastructure industry accelerates in Asia, there are many new types of contracts and business models. The existing tools and processes are no longer adequate to win business nor to execute. Bearing in mind that project failure costs account for 12% of project budgets, it is essential that infrastructure companies strengthen their operational systems. Standard ERP systems are just not geared up to cope with one-off complex infrastructure projects.
